The Thoronet Dish, sand-cast by hand in solid metal, shares the name and elegantly austere arches of Provence’s Thoronet Abbey (L'abbaye du Thoronet).

Sand casting is as much about negative space as it is about form; accordingly, this object can be placed prone for convenient storage of everyday items, or vertically for display.

Because the Thoronet Dish is manufactured in small batches, slight variations will occur from one piece to another; production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting.

The original finish of the bronze and aluminium versions will oxidise and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. If preferred, use a quality metal polish to restore brightness.
